Belmond Safaris has two separate locations connected by light aircraft. Eagle Island Lodge in Botswanas Okavango Delta is the ultimate luxury safari paradise. Hidden from the world and surrounded by Illala palms on the remote Xaxaba island, the lodge site overlooks a lagoon fed by the tranquil waterways of the delta. The area offers exceptionally high-quality wildlife viewing with prolific birdlife and mammal sightings. The site offers game viewing activities in the morning and late afternoons from motorized boats or traditional dugout canoes. Situated in the heart of the Chobe National Park - sometimes referred to as the elephant capital of the world - is Savute Elephant Lodge. The area where the Lodge is located is known for the herds of elephants that can be spotted roaming its plains. But other large animals also gather here to slake their thirst.
