Located just 80 km north of Townsville, Orpheus Island offers a secluded paradise escape set on the waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It is a 30-minute scenic helicopter ride from Townsville Airport or a 1.5 hour ride from Cairns. The surrounding World Heritage-listed Marine Park boasts snorkelling and diving with over a thousand species of tropical reef fish. Each of the refurbished beachfront rooms offer bright and modern décor, a 32-inch LED flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station. Crisp white bed linens and Li’tya guest amenities are provided. Your inclusions feature activities such as a daily Orpheus experience, which includes snorkelling, fishing, and island cruises. Access to Orpheus is via a 30-minute helicopter journey from Townsville over the picturesque coral-studded sea. There is one daily scheduled transfer from Townsville each day from AUD 1060 return per person. Please note that the cost of this transfer is not included in your accommodation booking and must be arranged and paid separately.
