Day 02 GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin with Ganesh Tok, a popular viewpoint visited by travelers for generations, offering panoramic views of the majestic Kangchenjunga. Next, visit the Banjhakri Falls, a serene picnic spot surrounded by lush greenery. Continue to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, where you can explore the rich cultural heritage of Tibetan architecture and Buddhist traditions. The day’s tour continues with a ride on the Gangtok Ropeway, providing stunning aerial views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Day 03 GANGTOK EXCURSION TOUR

After a leisurely breakfast, depart around 8:00 AM for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 3,750 m, approximately 3 hours’ drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft / 4,000 m). The drive takes you along a winding zig-zag road through rugged mountain terrain, offering breathtaking views along the way. Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 ft, is a serene and sacred lake known for its ever-changing beauty. In winter, the lake is covered with snow, creating a pristine white landscape, while in spring, colorful flowers surrounding the lake add vibrancy to the scenery. Next, visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a brave Indian soldier who tragically died while carrying supplies to a remote post near Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim due to harsh weather conditions.
