After breakfast, set out for an excursion from Port Blair to Ross Island. This historic island served as the administrative headquarters during the British era and was later occupied by the Japanese before India’s independence. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of colonial buildings, old churches, and scenic pathways that reflect its rich historical significance. Later, continue to North Bay Island, popularly known as the “Gateway to Port Blair.” The island is famous for its vibrant coral reefs and clear waters. Guests can enjoy optional water activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, or glass-bottom boat rides (at an additional cost), providing an opportunity to witness the colorful marine life of the Andaman Sea. Early in the morning, board a ferry from Port Blair to Havelock Island, approximately 54 km away by sea. The ferry journey offers scenic views of the turquoise waters and surrounding islands of the Andaman archipelago. Booking & Cancellation
To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.
Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:
- 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
- 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
- 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
- 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
- 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.
For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
